How did you manage to break the gearbox?

I believe it to be something to do with the selector's but 5th is quite noisy and then 4th, I couldn't down shift from 5th to 4th so would like to get it fixed but t5's are hardly a strong box, I'd like to go TKO 600 as they just seem so strong for the money.

Was planning on another engine but now just changing head, cams and pistons to raise comp to suit the new supercharger better, going baffles/winged sump and losing the aqua sump.

the MT75 gearbox 2wd is 1 piece and the 4wd is a 2piece with bellhousing.
dont quote me on this but i think you may have to change the 2wd casing for the 4wd casing but i will find out for you tomorrow.

this the car the box was running in before we had it

I was thinking about getting one for the Camaro as they seem good value for 600lb torque rating . They can easily cope with a big block v8 and i would bet my house that a 4 pot wouldnt break one . Pete:Chevy_anim:

Frayz, guess you don't fancy putting a cosworth together again when the new pistons turn up?
