The mini made a whopping 42bhp the same as standard do so was down on power, the points were too wide, ignition timing retarded, vacuum pipe had been bunged with a rivet and running very lean at the top plenty of tweaking and a larger jet produced a rather good gain of 11bhp with a final result of 53bhp not bad for a home grown engine TBR engines make 63bhp but are around 4k so rather pleased...

Willows mini once again showed it needed different gearing so putting in a 3:1 diff in his weekend. I had a go and put a couple of dings in it!

We finished my mates car the night before at 11pm, it got 2nd in its first shackdown outing.
I missed the next meet when the clutch set No!

Finished my Vauxhall-Ford CV joint tonight, made up of Vauxhall inner splines a welded on flange, Granada CV joint with high angle boot flange. Hopefully this will allow a higher angle before breaking like the standard Vauxhalls seems too.

Had a few good results and more recently some shocking ones!

Dads coming on had a second last time out, my uncle has a stock hatch in build too now so it felt rude not to join in so started my own build.

It has the 1.6 from the vtr in it!
Looking to mega light and tight to the rules as possible.

Tonight see us starting the strip!
