very wise words pez and good inspiration to what we are trying to achieve.

well ive been watching loads of youtube footage of croft and running through the track layout in my head ready for Saturday.
weather looks like its going to be a wet day, so im hoping this give us the luck the we need to finish on top to level up on points
going into the final round at rockingham.

there is a lot of pleasure on this event to win the round.
all ive been thinking about since the gearbox went in is croft and im so pumped to get a result.

I watched one of the Porsche championships the other night, that was held at Croft recently. One thing that did stand out was how slippery the outside of the hairpin was just before the start/finish straight. A cars few span out despite it not being a particularly damp track (in fact it seemed pretty dry).
One of the commentator even remarked "you don't want to go to the outside... there's no grip there!" low and behold, cars span even with it being a low speed turn.

So I guess it makes sense to keep a tight line through there, even when not on a hot lap.

watched a video in the rain and yea kept a tight line think its because of the trees on the
outside of the track with sap getting on the edge of the track.

used the warm up session to bed the grearbox in and it was good.
practice session gave it a bit more done quicker laps.
weather is still damp but back out at 14.00 so about 13.00 if we have no more rain we'll be sticking the slicks on.

next session she will be ragged :sifone:
