Very good meet,

Very good track virgins event

And of course very good banter afterwards !!! :D :D

Left at the end and got drenched walking from Tyrells to the car - then laughed merrily at the guys getting absolutely drowned trying to unhitch Stuarts trailer - I had to stay in the drivers seat of the car as I was proividing headlights for them to see and if the car accidentally slipped into gear............:D :D :D

Driving home was less than fun - took almost 2 hours to get back to braintree, drop Dan off - thanks for the pax laps for him Stu/Dangerous Dad :D - and then home. Thetford was almost completely flooded :o :o :o :o and i have come to the conclusion that 888 cut slicks are not too bad in heavy rain considering, however they definately dont do standing water !!! Also a GT3 at 60mph makes an excellent water ski - as I found out on the largest and darkest most unavoidable puddle/lake on the Thetford forest road :o   fortunately it still managed to stay in a straight line for the 60 or so yards it quite literally skimmed across the surface for !!!

Oh, and they also have a surprisingly deep wading depth for a high performance sports/track car - I had water over the headlights and halfway up the bonnet in Thetford !!! :o :o :o

All in all a good night !!!

:D

on the way back to cambridge was v bad as well, but it was all worth it, as the track time and the meet after makes up for it x10!

Hit a bit of rain Wednesday night,so glad Ive just fitted the uprated Hella headlights as the OEM ones are shocking even on a clear night
