Mike - I cant wait for that. With some driver training (and hoses that stay on) I reckon it will be close between us.
Jase - all heading in the right direction, learning to drive it more now. It is very different to drive than before due to the power delivery. I am having to apply power earlier to get the drive out of the bends due to the spool and lag differences between TMIC and FMIC / turbo change.
Looking at sector times for the complex at Silverstone, it was on the pace required to qualify but Copse cost me dear.
Some driver training is booked for the evening of the Snetterton track night to make the first steps into learning to drive it and there are some minor changes happening to set up but on the whole I think it is there.
The to do list now:
1 - IC pipe solution
2 - Oil Cooler ducting
3 - Some suspension tweaks
4 - Minor aero upgrades
I am also getting my ecu re-synced up to the immobiliser on tuesday so that I can re-commence mapping it myself. I cant wait for this to be honest as great as Pavlo's mapping is, it is frustrating having to get someone else to make minor changes to the map where I could be doing this myself on a constant basis. Plus the time out to go to Northampton to get this done is difficult to get with work being so busy at the moment with numerous projects on.
If anyone has a cheap and nasty laptop that they would like to sell to me to bounce around in the car, please let me know.

No problem mate i didn't realise you hadn't done bit before, just shout if you ever need handdynamix wrote:
Lee very kindly came over today to help me bleed the brakes. Believe it or not this is the first time I have done this myself. Cheers Lee... and cheers for the two jubilee clips :thumb: The fluid that came out was in surprisingly good condition albeit a little darker than normal so having fresh fluid around the calipers should help.

" Uh Betty you should of seen this car in Ely today!! it had stickers and stripes
all over it, and when it started up, the noise!!!, I could feel my teeth rattling!!!"
Just re-done the heat shielding on the oil cooler pipes where they cross the exhaust headers from the makeshift-done-in-the-pit-garage strapping that was quite frankly shite
Glad I did it though - thanks for getting me to do it Steven :thumb: better safe than burnt to a crisp
Also done a few tidy up jobs on it that have been nagging away at me on my roundtuit list. Nothing worth taking pictures of but good to get them done all the same.
Next up for this week - Mapping - hurray !!! I cant wait to get going again
