Awlright Mr B
Good to see you on here.
Hello!
Of course mate. Now I'm keeping the lacy frilly thing (to quote some gung-ho chap on here
) I'm going to spend some time and money (hopefully the former lol) making it a bit friskier
(hmm still sounds a bit gay for "straight" 6 Ben I think..).
Cheers to those who've said hi too, should see you all next week I hope.
Cheers,
Alex

.. Mate - saw you skiving off work yesteray - but then that was because I was too ... heading down past mine.
How did the regass go ? ... I was told I need to change the valves seals ... did your's just go straight in or were any mods required?

Had all week off
Went well, took about an hour and a half to evac the system and refill with R134a and an additive to treat the seals. Apparently needed as the molecules of the old R12 gas are huge in comparison to R134a so more likely to find ways out of the system.
The valves needed 2 new adapters to fit the new equipment, that's all tho.
If you're interested it was done by Excalibur Auto Electrics - I'll stick the details in the relevant section of the forum.
Cheers,
Alex
