Well what can I say, what a simply superb day. We were lucky enough to scrounge four free tickets to be guests of the RAC in the family enclosure.

Well It couldn't have been better, we got there early, registered and got a prime seat on the esses. Then it absolutely chucked it down, luckily we were now sporting our new bright orange ponchos .. look terrible, worked a treat.

Saw many good races, but the Touring Car itself had to be by far the best, TV doesn't allow you to appreciate the amazing sound they make ... where we stood / sat / chilled we would see the flames, hear the bangs, see the crashes.

And the crashes, I have to say I'm suprised that professional drivers will intentionally ram an opponent ... Yeh do it on GT4, but not on the track.

Neal lost it on a corner - THEN - to my amazement reversed straight back onto the track - into the path of a very quick moving car - BANG - we initially thought scratch one Honda - but no, he carried on - then to continued to lap even faster.

Shedden needs a good slap for some of his 'challenges' .. think Collard was after blood..

Anyway ... here are some piccies from the day.
