Very nice , especially the wheels
Whats the axle locating thingy and do you notice a difference with it . Iam stuck with leaf springs and a 200 lb rear axle so anything that can help with handling is worth me looking at . Pete

I think that looks just about perfect. Really, I wouldn't touch that at all :)

I have to say it looks awesome with those wheels !!!
Nice to see everyone going misty eyed when they see a nice Capri. Even my Dad had one years ago and Mum even liked it too.

The triangulation kit stops the axle creep common with leaf spring set ups.

It's basically a metal kit with angled components connecting the axle to the body. Should be relatively cheap to engineer.

Great car, i had a couple of these in various specs, plus 3.0S's and the V8 Mk1 (new 4.0 275hp TVR)i built so bit of an expert.
They did what what was called an 'A' frame kit that clamped round the tube of the axle and the end of the leaf spring reduce sideways movement. There was also an 'X' setup that went to both ends of the spring.
Check the rubber insulator between the spring and the axle that makes it mushy too. The RS kit was a machined alloy plate with a pin to locate it to the axle and clamped with the U bolts. Same as Escort 1 & 2 so will still be available. With different thickness plates/U bolts you can get adjust height of course.
If you need any help get in touch.

Yeah its an A frame kit that I have, very basic, very primitive in design but it does its job which is what counts.
Thank you for all the kind comments :)
