The reason i ask about the weight is i have seen the maxsport ones at autosport last year and they were soooo heavy .
Seems these may be a good alternative.

Maxsport and Colway's always used to be remoulds mate, so you would be right there/A2ON wrote:The reason i ask about the weight is i have seen the maxsport ones at autosport last year and they were soooo heavy .

Can't see anyway in Hell that these would be any good in standing water but damp or light rain and they should be OK (but then I always thought R888's were ok in those conditions too)TheNissanMan wrote:Stupid question but I take it they're as bad in the wet as they look...
Currently running AD08's which I find bloody awesome wet or dry but always after something stickier if it can get me to the track in the wet

Weighed the 225/45/17 sample at 10kg. Not bad considering that to create a stiff sidewall is bound to add a bit of weight.A2ON wrote:The reason i ask about the weight is i have seen the maxsport ones at autosport last year and they were soooo heavy .

I think these only go up to 225's but as I don't know what the make or model of tyres are, you may want to take that with a pinch of salt Pete
