A 2.5 is 190 odd

A 2.8 with a 2.5 inlet manifold should see over 200 easy!!

Just need an e34 sump, oil pick up and dip stick as well as the inlet manifold a Clio brake servo and a bit of wiring and some engine mounts!!!!

(Can you see a reason for buying an e34??)

I can Rob but I really can't be arsed with that lot. I don't mind dicking around with interior stuff and bodywork but I'm lazy and useless (a dangerous combo) with spanners so I'd best avoid that kind of thing.

I would nt bother mate. A healthy M25 can make reasonable power, and although it's heavier than a newer M523, is maybe 20bhp worth all that aggravation? (It's not impossible, but not a 5 minute job either)
I'd look at either "normal" 6 cylinder E30's, or E36's mate. At least they are ready to play out of the box....there's my 2p worth.
