Some good advice there thanks
My biggest impedance is apathy. If I can remember Maff's first rule, I'll do better than I have done in a while. I'm currently using a Cross Trainer thing I bought off Rob and doing ten minutes cardio on that each day, and doing a variety of weights afterwards. Only once I can do twenty minutes on the C-T will I venture into the outdoors. I have always loved running so I hope I can get back into that quite quickly.

The beauty of the CT is it's non impact buddy.
Good luck to you mate, it'll soon come off and you'll find it quite addictive.

Like most people on BP I have decided to be positive in 2012, I reach retirement age in May although I have been retired for two years and have been in a bit of a void mentally over that period, so it is time to wake up enjoy life, even take some risks to get the most from every day and stop worrying about what might/could happen.

Will be great to have someone to run with as I hate the dark so i too stopped during winter, like Rob also had knee troubles. Hopefully this is now ok, looking forward to doing Parkrun again and beating Hattie, little minx has an amazing sprint finish!

I hope Mr Fletcher doesn't wear any lycra though!!

Gone back to Pizza's and large quantities of alcohol. I will resume training once the cold and coughs have passed.
