What tyres are you running? and is it a contol tyre or can you choose any tyre?

You can use any 1A or 1B tyre. We had some old but meaty 888s on the front and Kumho V70As on the rear. We'll get another race out of the Kumhos and we should have some Yoko A048s for the rest of the season. We bought some Federal RSRs from Eddy just in case the Kumhos died but that wasn't to be. We may sell those Federals now.
