I had a new 182 cup back in 2004 and loved it. it was nippy, responsive and most of all FUN.

I bet a stripped out 182 set up for track work will be a bit of a weapon.

Looking forward to watching this develop.

Again thank you all!
Today was doing the easy bits- collected correct wheels and fit new tailgate removed from scrapper.

As clio`s don`t have a seperate loom for the gate i use string to feed the wiring through the new panel.

The new wheels were not quite as "mint" as described- but i think they look a whole lot better then what was on there?:sifone:

Tomorrow will be clear the garage out and get this one in and start on the more tricky quarter panels. The near side is ok as it has just one dent but i will see if anything can be done with the offside as it has many!

Looks like a great little project mate :D

Btw, I like your way of hiding the body damage with snow in the first photos

If you have been past and have not seen the Fiat in the drive, I still have it but a friend is borrowing it as his Impreza is in bits in my unit :(

Ben, The place this came from is one of my regulars and is not the sort of place to "borrow" wheels everything is computerised and run by the book a little bit posher now than the days of a bloke in rigger boots and a site guarded by a mean looking dog on a chain. A friend of mine got into a lot of trouble when he bought a car that he locked the keys inside, then popped the window to get in- they went ape at him and made him clear up the glass with a dust pan and brush!:D
Plus i found a letter in the boot today dated december 09 to the previous owner from the job centre about his recent job seekers claim??????? Now either this guy was having serious bad luck? or..........
