And going too far down the modded route will make the insurance interesting......

You only need the centre cat to get through MOT emissions which means the down pipe can be left alone, once swapped. Make sure you go with a flanged system and not a slide and clamp type, that way it's a simple 10 minute job to re-fit the OE centre.
