Well fingers crossed the small split I've found in the hose is the cause, found this morning.
The main stealers wanted 24 hours to get one in, and all I could find was a used one with MOCOM in North Weald.

I take it you're aware of the oil change procedure for a Scooby?

Fully synth oil. Pre-fill the new filter before fitting. Disconnect crank sensor and crank the oil pressure up before starting. All good fun :D

@Gerry, yes thanks, I've been warned about some horror stories of people not doing either of those, and then trashing the engine :o
Fingers crossed I won't be on here tomorrow night asking for a new engine! :wink:

yes they are a pain in the ass but they do give a good grin factor :-D

They certainly are different to work on compared with BMWs Stu, I'll give you that!
The E30's, 34's,36's and E46's are all fairly predictable, but the Scoob's given me a few new things to consider! As Gerry says, all good fun :D
