That one is out - tried to book it before and is fully booked with some ramblers or general weirdos. Bit of a shame but there you are.

Pabs was talking about Premier Inn or something similar.

Premier Inn probably won't be secure Dunk. Surely a phone call to the circuit can sort this?

The transporter option has passed now..........too late. Will be a long arsed tow up there for a few of our intrepid 'doers'.

We have been looking at booking Premier Inn as it is not far from the circuit. As the EDC is on the Sat we are hoping that we would be able to take the car straight to the track on the sat and leave the car there. I have not checked this out yet but would hope that this is an option.

I know a very nice Inn about 25 miles North, just outside Perth. Good food, real ale, friendly atmosphere, quiet village location (well it usually is) with carpark well off the main road. 3 bedrooms, 1xsingle, 1xdouble & 1xFamily. Full Scottish breakfast but not before 8:00 :(

I stay there 2 or 3 times a year when I work in Dundee. The 22 mile drive to work is most pleasant. The fantastic scenery is a lovely way to wake up in the morning :D

Might be tempted to come up and do the SIDC morning :)

The SIDC morning is on the Saturday 17th.

I 'think' the TA event is properly on the Sunday but there is rumour of practice sessions on the saturday pm.

I will be heading up on the friday (16th) and back (mon 19th) - I think anyway :D

We're thinking of heading up on late Friday night and travelling through the night to get up there early sat morning and then heading back monday. If there is practice sessions on the sat we may revise this

I felt sure when the dates came out for TA that KH was 17th and 18th?
The web site now only lists the 18th.

Like you I had diaried in to travel up Fri and Back Mon, but if there is nothing happening Sat, then maybe better to travel then? (and work Fri - self employed, no hol pay)
