I've had quite a few parts from SSA and never had an issue but this time round everything has been bad. Naff mani, naff wastegate also made the mistake ona GT28RS a while back.


From what I've been told the reason it cracked is due to a bad weld, it was too hot or something and has thinned the steel in that area :( though had an amazing guy help me yesterday by welding the manifold up for me while it was 'still' on the car with all the turbo and parts in place :o :!:



I think SSA would be able to make good parts IF they spent alittle more on the welding, all their stuff is single not double tiged, n't ask me what that means though but apparently it means its not as strong :)

Gary is right, check my spec for a genuine 400+ at the rear wheels setup...

It really isn't as easy as a lot of people make out.
