hence why Im doing the 1000bhp project just so I can feels the speed again !!!

Car competence is a big part of it, especially on public roads, chucking my '68 65bhp MG midget around the back roads with your arse 2" off the ground and slidey 145/13 tyres on always feels far faster than driving the 200 down the same lanes.. despite the fact it tops out at 92 :D I can only imagine how well the GT3 sticks and how safe and within its limits it is.

Took the Skyline out for the 1st time since the Virgins night today - I've been on a adrenline starvation diet of 90bhp Skodiod diesel auto since - and to be honest the earth didn't move for me - :?

I NEED MORE POWER :sob:

Looks like everyone is catching the 'i need more power bug'!!

I suppose you just begin to get complacent in your own car after a while.

This trick works for me though, if you get to that stage then let someone drive the car and sit in the passenger seat of your own car, then it feels fast again!!

Keep doing stuff to improve it .... the only way to keep it fresh in my mind.

I would love to drive a std STi again just to be able to judge how far it has come, but it gets to be matrix stylee when you have driven fast on track - anything other than flat out appears to be dawdling and appears in slow mo.... or is that just me :)

Mine gets driven every other day most of the time and rarely get prolonged full throttle on the roads, that it still suprises me when I nail it in 2nd and 3rd 8)

You're telling me that you would ACTUALLY let someone drive your car ... right - when can I have a go :)
