In case people didnt realise,

Debit card transactions almost never have any comeback unless its part of your accounts priveleges - usually only on "Higher level" accounts like Gold, Platinum or Premier. This is because its primarily your money that is paying for the goods so they dont bother putting any insurance and costs in for this transaction.

Credit card transactions usually DO have cover for things like this, faulty goods etc as its primarily the Banks' money that is paying for it and if theres a problem it inclines people to then not pay the bank back which they then have to recover = hassles and costs that the bank simply cover with insurance that ends up getting paid by us anyway as part of the APR on the card unless we are all Angelic and pay our credit card bills completely every month.

Sorry to hear of this issue, never nice when a nice thought goes sour.

I know this guy personaly he rents mainly Pug 205's delivers them to your track of choice. So you could book a Big Power Track date and Liam will bring the car and all the gear for your day.
