Quick update, have sold my golf, didn't get as much for it as I wanted but thats usually the way... its gone to a golf enthusiast in Chesterfield who has a golf gti show car and wanted one for his missus, so at least it'll be looked after! :)

Runabout is going well and is still untinkered with ;)

But have been spending some time pondering what to do with the scoob and where to go for some enjoyable driving, 1/4 mile seems to have lost its enjoyment factor for me :( Track days are fun but the scoob hasn't been built for that and wouldn't want to risk wrecking it, though may pop along sometimes in the runabout ;)

However, I think I've found something to get into which will see the enjoyment factor returned, it would involve a car like this...

nice little runaround and I am sure it will be fun - you planning/thinking of using it for 1/4 miles?

Yeah I thought it looked nice :D Other side of London though, long drive to get there.. :(

Nope, think I'm pretty much done with 1/4 miles, just doesn't seem as exciting as it used to. I guess thats why my 'drag monster tag' has disappeared... ;)

Am thinking of getting into drifting, its something I've wanted to do for a while and hopefully I'd be ok at it.

PS (as the Supra link is no longer working) My new runabout is a 94 plate NA Supra Auto, if I were to go for the Silvia for drifting it would be the Scoob making way.

Nope, scoob would be on its way out, can't afford a Supra, Scooby and Silvia!

Shame cos its one of the best modified prodrive edition bugs i know.
If it no longer floats your boat though mate, then theres no point keeping it i guess.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do though :D

Michael

If you need any info on drifting cars or in general, speak to either Bladerider or gtst lad on here. Both have drifted for a while and I know Bladey has contacts everywhere for bits.

If you want details on cars in Japan (ie loads cheaper) let me know, I am always looking myself.

Best of luck
