Welcome Pete,

Are you considering doing a 3SGTE Swap or adding a turbo to your block? A rev3 3SGTE will see you to your 245bhp goal without any further mods, a FE or GE block will need a bit more. As andy said - if you need any help or advise ;-)

Let us know how you get on,

many thanks with all the response :-D
I'm planning to do a whole conversion so it will be a 3sgte and as its a rev 3 it should have an lsd.
i dont thinks its worth my while turbo charging the 3sge block.
i would love to get it to 300bhp eventually but i'll be happy with it at 245bhp for a while
no problem rx7 i'll take ya out in it when finished!

Hi Pete and welcome :wave2:

Great choice of car!! My last toy was a UK Spec MkII and i miss it loads. Owned it for 5 1/2years and played with it a little, got it looking pretty nice......

I think the MR2 is one of those cars that once you've owned one, it becomes the benchmark to which every other car you try is compared. For pure fun and driving experience, i much prefered it to the Skyline, even though its much quicker than the MR2 was. I WILL have another...one day ;)

Anyways, sorry for the hijack...cant help myself with these cars

Good luck with getting the car back on the road...whichever engine setup you decide on ;)
