555 sprint car

Post by Tk »

I am back in the game
Thanks to mikeb for the lift and another pair of eyes I purchased a version 2 sti 555 today

A limited number of them made to celebrate the 1995 wrc championship win
The only impreza to come out the factory with rally livery
It's rust free and totally standard apart from an alloy rad and an exhaust

Suspension mods /brakes/ de-cat and a map and take it sprinting

Looks great Trev but you haven't said how it runs.
Remember Logan I think posting a pic of one of these up a while ago.

Personally though I'm not a livery man and that would be straight off :(

Little bit of inspiration

It drives really really nice Gareth, all tight and quiet engine
I am not a livery fan either and when going to look at it I thought I would take them off
But it's grown on me and the fact it's an original car it seems criminal to take them off

Lovely Trev

I think it would be sacrilege to bin the stickers as it's all factory but would quite understand why you would take them off, after all, it is your car! :) Very, very nice and it reminds me of V-Rally on PlayStation!!! :D

Good luck with the car and your spec-creep ;)

stickers will be staying stu as you say it would be just wrong to get rid as they are factory fit
you can tell they have been on there for a long time as they are worn in places but i really like this , patina :sifone:

so far i have purchased
4 pot front calipers 2 pot rear calipers with discs etc..
full set of braided stainless hoses
30way adjustable coilovers
17" speedline wheels with road/wet rubber
17" prorace 1.2's 8" and 225 45 avon zzr's
de-cat downpipe and gasket
sparco dished suede steering wheel and boss
low level rear spoiler
smaller number plate

next up
harnesses and i already have a pair of sparco evo2 grp seats in the garage
buddy club bolt in seat mounts for side mounts
roll cage
fuel pump
baffled sump
rear arb
then injector adapters and an esl remap
