I'm researching Mike :) ..

Got to say I'm falling in love with my car properly - it is so much better with a normal clutch!, infact it has improved the gear change too, just a total improvement.

Well what can I say about the Type R today - probably that Gary hates it :). So what started innocently enough as the hazard light switch not working (which happens to be needed for the MOT) - turned into, well, I guess can be best described as a monster .. so they say don't fit 18's to a classic ...umm, now know why.

The front wheel had merrily eaten through the loom !!! .. doh.

So Yoda Hayward got to work, diced, spliced, soldered and repaired the aforementioned munched wiring. Now this particular part of the loom connected to the fuse box in the bay so I'm amazed the car actually ran.

So not only do I have working hazards, I have found that I have rather nice green footwell lighting, button's that light up, and a nifty little binger reminding me I have left the key's in :) ... superb :)

So thank's as usual to APT

Had similar thing when I bought my Soarer big wheels and low car don't do the wiring looms much good especially when the loom runs through a wheel arch.......then add previous owner removing inner liners to allow all the shit to get into it not a good mixture.
At least you have one bong I had about six different ones for different things. ....and doesn't help when it flashes up messages in Japanese on the dash either....

At least it's a bong and not an annoying beeping like on the Rx7s !!

Good work as always to the APT guys and the MOT chaps.
