Well no going back now, upper intake manifold is off the car and so is the old loom!

TBH its frightening looking at the old loom, previous owner has changed the secondary injectors over and one of the clips has broken so the plug was held onto the injector with hope and dreams... Just removing one of the crank sensors caused the wire to snap!

Old loom:

Lots to do...

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/95202371@N02/9167670706/" title="IMAG0541 by 5ced525f61c513cdf0ee1a8c88b8df74, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2887/9167 ... 216e_b.jpg" width="1024" height="577" alt="IMAG0541"></a>

After taking all of the loom off I was some things which didnt look right so I have been checking things with my multi meter but everything is sorted. Just some of the wiring from the factory looked abit homemade so I was comparing the two looms.

Because I have now got quite a few bits off the car I will attempt to give it a clean as it looks like a old birds nest in some places!

Gareth, I know when I popped over and saw your car I asked if there was a gasket between the LIM and UIM and you said yours didnt have one... mine did (you can see it on my windscreen in the second photo) Just an FYI.

Also popped in to see Mark at power and performance and he is going to weld a flange on my IC pipeing for my new bov.

So next step is cleaning the bay and top of the engine, then after that I will fit the loom.
