Jesus!! It's not the cost, as such, but look at the area! Bloody hell.........glad I don't work in London anymore. In most cases, won't the costs be direct though? (i.e. if you get charged it, you pass it on to the customer) I appreciate that it will make business in Greater London exceptionally tough for those outside of it if they travel in..........
The Mayor certainly doesn't want people driving around town.

Thats crazy, looks like Heathrow airport is in the LEZ as is a small stretch of the m25. So what happens if the fire brigade can't afford to make the changes to their vehicles. Do they just not attend fires in the zone.
I can see the AA & RAC passing on the charges to anyone who breaks done in that zone.

What a bureaucratic rip off, having lived and worked in London I can endorse efforts to minimise emissions ( I can remember the Smogs we used to get) but this is a bloody nightmare to comply with and the penalties are particularly swingeing. D'oh, silly me of course they are that is the whole idea another cash cow

I think the range of vehicles included is now staggering, pickups and 4x4's pre 02 just for starters.
