Good idea about the delegation of duty Trev, I panicked when I had to cut vents in car bonnets, so I can imagine the terror in cutting in glass panels like that.

The AMG Monoblock's are a tried and tested route and not that bad money wise. I hope to be joining your ranks soon....

something i can just bolt in and to make life easier with 3 point belts fitted to the seats
a pair minimum or three
there are loads on the dreaded ebay but are all miles away

and to be really fussy inca material would be a bonus :D

had a trip to santa pod sunday for a bit of 1/4 mile giggles
first tow with the van and the 5 pot lapped it up

jaffa behaved its self all day taking a thrashing, but it shows me i need more power, it gets of the line alright up to 3rd gear but half way down it seems to run out of puff and i get over taken :( but i did beat a couple and even a

i dont know power to weight stu , jaffa not been weighed and i dont know
bhp a measly 148bhp, weight at a guess is 800 kilos maybe less maybe more
standard mk1 gti kerb weight is 850kilos
be interesting to find out one day
