Where shall I start.......After being up for 28hrs this may not read right.....
Me and Alan set of this morning at 7am to go and collect the car from Gordon's. We had spoke to him yesterday and he said the replacement turbo was on and he only had to do a bit of mapping, so all was looking good. When we got there the car was already strapped on the dyno ready to go. The turbo was on was the filter and pipe were left off as Gordon wanted to check everything was ok.
1st quick run produced 231bhp at 5100rpm and only 10psi:hurray:. The next run saw a boost pipe from the boost controller blow off and was sucked into the turbo:banghead:
Turbo No3....scrap metal
So that was that no more turbo's and we haven't ordered the new one yet....bollocks....
Then someone, can't remembr who, mention Herbie's old turbo, so off Alan went to find it and was already at Gordon's. After many hours of fecking about trying to make Herbie's turbo fit the cossie and then even more hours trying to get okd one off and this one on it was done.......
So back on the dyno to set it all up again.................

It survived, slightly less power than we had but it spools up so much earlier and with a flatter torque curve and as an added bonus the wastegate noise is totally insane...totally insane.
So Damian the 'Bastard' child of XR and Cosworth is finally home.
