Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Cheers fil, try not to be to worried if I'm in the next lane on the strip :D
I shall probably take it to Santa pod for a giggle with jamie in his similary powered mk1,

I'm looking forward to plenty of track/ drag / sprint action this Coming year as I missed out in 2010 only doing a couple of days in the mk2

Happy new year everyone

Having seen Jaffa up close and personal yesterday, I have to say without any exaggeration, the photos don't do this justice at all. The finish is excellent; nice panel gaps, great paintwork and the spec was like a magazine feature car. Sounds lovely and goes up the road like a kicked cat!

With Trev perving over his recent unfitted purchases, I am sure that he'll be moving in to the thing when the weather warms up :)

mmmm very nice , im ok engine side of things at the moment or at least bottom end, my kr 1.8 motor has knife edge balanced crank, balanced rods, forged pistons, lightened flywheel etc.. so next up is head work which will consist of a simple port and polish new valves ground in and a set of cams (highest duration i can get) :)

rev limit raised to 7.5-8k it should scream quite nicely on the 45's :D

when time and funds allow i will build myself a good spec 2.0l

dellorto's are now on and im very very happy with them, they look and fit so much nicer than the bike carbs and sound lovely, im running them on the bike fuel pump at the moment and not sure this is ideal so before going for dyno time iv ordered a red top fuel pump and filter king fuel pressure reg, radiator has been repositioned for maximum clearance for the carbs
nearly play time :D
