I do have the advantage that I did Cadwell last year, it gave me a lot more confidence this time. I had great fun following you (although I didn't know who was driving at the time) and TBH I wouldn't have gone much quicker if you weren't there.russ979 wrote:
For me one of the biggest surprises of the day was our Datsun des! I spent about four laps trying to shake this red sx from my tail! Everytime i thought id made some breathing space out of one corner, we`d go round the next and he was back on my tail! I was about to pull over and let him through when the red flags came out. It was a shame as i would have liked to have followed to see i could have kept on his tail? I have to admit i did n`t like the forest section much, as i was in harry`s car, it was my first time and had seen to much "cadwell crash" footage on youtube!:)
Well thats my excuse and i`m sticking to it! (sorry if i held you up des?)

I forgot to say a massive thank you to Dave for organising a supurb track day. The free tea/coffee and nibbles realy is a nice addition. The morning de-briefing was also spot on! To the point and did n`t drag on.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Cool! I was having fun, just glad i was n`t holding you up. We are not booked into brands:( Its a shame as its a lovely track and have n`t been there for a few years. Harry and i are booked into snetterton this sunday so we will have to set a rematch for next year (cadwell again?;))Datsun-Des wrote:I do have the advantage that I did Cadwell last year, it gave me a lot more confidence this time. I`m not sure Russ and I shared the driving during the day we were in a silver subaru M993 I think on balance Russ had the better laps I was a bit off colour and more than a bit off the paceA2ON197 wrote:Did we get out on track at the same time harry ?
