Grace. SOLD
If it's raining on the 10th, I'll stick with my other Toyo's. The offset is so weak on these Ats' that I may do that anyway

After her first 'proper' event, my thoughts were as follows
-Insufficient cooling both of the water and the oil. As oil temps rose (124 at one point) the oil thinned causing the pressure to drop=red light of doom and warning buzzer. It was OK for the first four laps, then got worse quite quickly.
-Brakes were untroubled throughout
-Gearbox was good with no issues; clutch was also good
-Toyo T1-R's gave great confidence in the damp. As conditions improved, the soft shoulders/ sidewalls became apparent; even more so when I tried Trev's PGA on R888's. They were a revelation.
-The engine was pinking more than some porn stars I could mention. I was getting outdragged by some similar cars, although I suspect I was not going full tilt at this stage.
-Steering, stability and grip were all good.
As a track car, I'd give it 6/10 (5/10 at Snett)
As an allrounder that cost less than my sofa, I really have to give it 8/10. A little more power would be good but I also know a decent set of tyres (like the ones I have at home
) would also do the job.
Great fun and huge potential at Cadwell or similar.

100% Pablo
NOS is the last thing I need Rob. What I do need is a serious hike in usable power. I'm thinking 20v turbo right now.......a more modern powerplant to boost refinement and drivability. 200hp doesn't hurt obviously either
Drove Trev's tonight and noticed loads of things
Power steering in his is lovely when doing less than 30mph
R888's should be standard fit
Better oil temps than mine.........why?
Nice exhaust note and less detonation (audibly)
Fucked clutch
Leccy windows...........bastard

i recon its your timing thats out stu, mike had the same problem with pinking etc..
one he moved the dizzy a touch his car improved no end with more power and i think it even sorted out his water situation but dont quote me on that
your car should be a lot lot quicker than it is, mine was similar and would not rev properly in the higher revs a while ago, a little tap on the dizzy and was transformed.

Small one's are more juicy
I took the car to Gary's this morning, for both a test of the timing and a dyno run.
Looks like I guessed about right with the timing when I adjusted it a fortnight ago. Gary went a whole mile further though, adjusting several bits I didn't even know you could tweak
Tickover was now improved and the fueling was assured to be much better. Even starting the bloody thing was better.
Ok. On to the dyno run (and the edited thread title) These cars are supposed to be 139bhp. Mine was nothing like it
I think Gary squeezed about 120 something out of it but you'll have to take my word for it as I couldn't be arsed to get a print out.
No wonder it's so slow in a straight line. Anyone got a push bike and want a race :lol:
Whilst searching for the several horses that had gone to pasture, Gary checked the compression
Cylinder 1=210
2=210
3=210
4=200
Good news compared to other KR's that I have researched this afternoon
The sniff tester was also used to see if there were any exhaust gases in the coolant. Once again nothing, so it looks like the engine is OK; well 'OK' enough to get spanked at Marham and Cadwell for starters
