Been looking at those Neuton tyres, they are endorsed by Martin fFrench, who for those unfamiliar is a bit of a drifting God.( He's the guy that built that carbon bodied, bike engined Lexus Jason)

That's the very one

More research required I think. Judging by the weather it'll be the T1-R's getting assaulted on Tuesday night and we'll see how much is left of them after that. I may be trying another set of tyres sooner than I thought.

I've always found T1R's to be excellent in the wet, even when it's bucketing down, with lots of grip under load and braking with good turn in. Can't fault them there.

I killed a set of T1R's on a dry and hot trackday some time back. Never again!!

Recently i used Michelin pilot sports in the wet they were nothing short of just amazing. Highly recommend them.

I'm back on Bridgstones now because they last well and i thought we were going to have some nice weather. I have to say though, they are definately not as good as the T1R's or the Pilots in the wet.

Looking forward to hearing some more BP comments on these R1R's. I read some comments elsewhere online last night. Apparently they aren't too bad in the cold as they warm up quickly and have a decent wear rate.

This has come off the Toyo website if you haven't had a look already. I've no reason to believe these aren't genuine comments from genuine racers although you have to be sceptical when they are on a manufacturers website after all they're not going to print someone saying "These tyres are shite!!"..lol..

Yes, quite correct guys, the RS-R is a different animal to the RS. Little softer compound and stiffer sidewalls.

As i said in my tyres thread that noone has read by the looks of it lol, i am appointed EA regional distributor for these and the Silverstones.

Thread here with some prices
