Wing camera mount all painted and ready :D I will have this fitted on at the next meet should anyone want to look at it :smash: So thats 1 of 4 custom mounts made ;)
Next mounts to make are;
Adjustable in and out suction mounted side view bracket. (Like Bens one)
Adjustable in and out rear wheel bracket. (so you can film the tyre smoke from the rear wheel on drift/drag days)
Adjustable up and down with tilt suction mounted roof bracket.

And ontop of that, the existing bumper mounts i have with the kits :D

Excellent :thumbs: the mode button will let you record video or video + sound. I had to record a short video just talking, then record another one after pressing mode to play them back and see whether the vid+sound was on. After you've played back you'll know if you need to press it again or not to record with sound all the time :)

Yesterday i dropped the car off at Eddys 9am sharp for him to crack on with the car :) very impressed with the unit even though its still being set up :thumbs: Eddy didnt waste anytime getting the car in the air for us to take a quick peak at.

Eddy hard at work scrubbing the bolts clean ^

Had a quick gander at the parts going on;

was really amazed at how small the clutch assembly was! its the same size, if not smaller than my old mini :rofl:

The flywheel was sent away for a re-grind as there we're scallops from overheating, no surprise really considering the slippage. Eddy also mentioned that there was something wrong with the gearbox? (me and my memory) so i'll get the full details of that tonight to re-post here. :o

Going to call in a minute to see if all's well for me to come collect it tonight at 5pm, if so i can crack on with the other job in the morning of regreasing all the calipers as they're slightly seized and the front disks are starting to go blue. :blush5:

As a side note i started making my prototype long arm camera mount;

the adjustable housings will be securely mounted to 3 suction cups/dent pullers so it'll have a hard job trying to move. I've also got to fabricate a global mount to allow free movement for the little camera in any direction, and a larger mount for camcorders etc :smash:

Just so you are aware obviously for MSV trackdays or anything at Snetterton/MSV circuits, the camera mount cannot be held in place with suction mounts sadly or any similar form. It has to be mounted by clamps no matter how many suction pods you are using.

Just don't want you to put the effort in to be denied it in the pit lane on trackdays.

(only because today ive had this row with about 6 customers with suction pods :D :D)

All other things your planning on doing, sprints and so on i cant advise.
