Red Sierra XR4i - Classic & Original

Post by pablo »

Putting this up for Alan (Bart) copied from the XROC bulletin board

I have made the decision to sell my XR4I unwillingly but due to my racing i dont have time to use her anymore, i only did 600 miles last year.
it is a 1983 A reg and it is in origianal condition apart from the air box that has been cut and a panel filter fitted.
the car is only used during the summer and is put in a unit during the winter.
i have owned the car for nearly 4 years and before me it was also owner by a XROC member.
the previous owner fitted inner and outer sills and done both rear arches (i have pictures of his work and will put these up the weekend)
when it was on the dyno at power enginering it produced 154bhp and down the quarter mile it consistantly hit 16.8sec
as you'll be able to see in one the pictures it has one of my replica dashboards, the first one i made.
it has the original stereo but not wired up
the oil pressure switch is leaking but have a new one to fit
the clock does not work but again have another to fit.
the car is located in norwich so if want to view then contact me for dates.
if you have any questions then ether PM me or give me a call/text on 07939337422.
the MOT runs out in 1st august and there is no tax.

I MUST resist
I always wanted an XR4i but had a Y reg 1.6L a long long time ago.
Looks a superb car, but I know the wife will say NO! so good luck with the sale.

Cheers for that Stuart

But I like my testicles between my legs more than I like that car, if the porsche was sold them may be :x
I was also very tempted with the VR6 for sale on here, be a good track car, but the lord o mighty (the missus) reminded me that have 5 cars to tax, insure, etc already :(
NO NO MUST RESIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(but i would like a track car :D )
