Who's going to be Sprinting in '09???
Yes - that's the classic bit. Had great fun in Chris 'S2000' Avis' one at Jersey's classic hillclimbing weekend. 170bhp and sounds great. Wish I'd had the money to buy his when he sold last year.blacky wrote: Whats a BV8, not an MGB surely???
Sunbeam Tiger would be more interesting but would be around what I'd get for Evo.
Can you get decent suspension for the MGs these days? When I ha a V8 in the early '80s I fitted telescopic dampers to the rears, still with the cart springs but there was no replacement for the front lever arm cr@p things. Don't forget to grease your kingpins tooMiKa wrote:Yes - that's the classic bit. Had great fun in Chris 'S2000' Avis' one at Jersey's classic hillclimbing weekend. 170bhp and sounds great. Don't take any notice of Logan, he probably wasn't born when the '74 chrome bumper version appeared.

Sounds interesting on a twin drive

You can normally run a few times without a MSA logbook. I only got approved after the second event. (Cost around

Greve de Lecq hillclimb, Jersey 07 in a borrowed 170bhp V8 B. Over the four days of Aug Bank Hol there was a sprint, two days on this hill and one on Bouley Bay. Plus BBQs, gala dinners, lunch etc etc Got to be better than North Weald
Bloody good pic. it ought to be in the porn thread.
