I've been discussing a multi camera system with a 4 into one picture in picture mixer today. Not for me to purchase you understand, but it may be an option to hire it. This would enable me to quickly and easily edit footage after an event with simultaneous views of the drivers side front external (assuming its a clockwise circuit), rear facing, front facing and then an internal camera set up so that you can see the drivers inputs to the steering wheel and gearshift. I hope (and think) that this would be invaluable as a training tool, not to mention bloody good fun.

I have been assured that the mp4 format that it records in is a doddle to edit so the footage can be uploaded within an hour or so of getting home. All the better for milking the excitement of a trackday :)

Stu,
If you've got specs in mind, bear in mind I can get all this trade, and can do the build for you!!
Might be cheaper than you think, and if needs be could be a 12v portable rig or battery powered...

Let me know what you two Hulks come up with regarding the camera setup as i would be interested in it.

I can always sell on my dogcam setup on here........

I like the sound of 4 way cam and EASY editing.......
