What Estate Car?

Post by Mr Windscreen »

With two dogs now in the household we now need a bigger car. Thinking of changing the Civic for an estate, maybe a Impreza Wagon or an Audi A4. Any suggestions?

Need more details Darren;

Size of dogs
Use of car other than dog hauling
Budget
etc etc

Legacy TT's are worth a look as are (whisper it) Volvo T5s

This is for two labrador dogs and must be a nice reliable car for the missis as she will use it as daily transport to and from work. Will have about 6k to spend. No Volvo,s or BMW,s.

Scoob Wagon it is then! :wink:

Our wagon was a near perfect all round car for over 3 years, 2 labradors, 2 kids, school run, shopping, track days. Did the lot, and with amazing reliabilty.

Leggy's are really nice looking but pretty thirsty so i hear.

I get 25mpg out of my scoobywagon on a run so not bad really and the dogs love it in the back.

I have a dog guard/mesh up as well to save on doggy slobber all over the back seats or a wet tongue in the ear!! :D

Also i wish i'd stuck a bumper guard/strip over the top of the rear bumper to save on deep scratches....suffice to say....too late now!! :(
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!! :rant:

Waiting now for another execution date!!:headhack:
