Not another thread about your MR2 mate ?!!!!!?

I think all you'd need to do is put a nice set of alloys on and leave it.

Personally I love Volk wheels so a nice set of CE28s or TE37s in bronze does it for me.

That Volks wheel looks pretty tastey :P & i think your rev 3 rear end looks good.

The Rims on my MR2 are for sale if they interest you :? They are a similar style to the Volks wheel on this page, but without the dish & split rim. However the one's in my pics are at the absoloute legal limit of width & run without any spacers as they fit perfectly 8)

They are Compomotive CXR's in 7 x 17's & have some good Goodyear Eagle F1's on the front (rears would need replacing fairly soon). New the rims were about

DOH!

note to self, must read the post properly lol.

you could go for the US style sire replectors for the rear, they are red instead of orange.

Personally,

I dont like the alloys on Russels car, they have everything wrong with them I dislike in alloys. The spokes arent distinct, theres no dish, the centre part of the wheel looks like its curved back into the rim like a bowl, and the offsets are slightly weak especially at the rear. Oh and the cars is waaaaay too high and in 17" they just look lost in the arches. Sorry for the absolute hatchett job on your wheels fella but its actually a good example to use. Feel free to call me an ahse at the next meet

The rims on the blue modified car look like Work Rezax to me, it looks like you have really big positive offsets on MR2's and hence its difficult to get nice rims in the "drift style" thats in fashion at the moment with big dish. But as mentioned I think CE28 or TE37 would be ideal for this car as they can run with a big offset and still look nice. Anything thats pretty much flat will give you either a little bit of dish if you can buy it with a good offset, especially if like the Works in the top picture they are split rims, and failing that maybe a big old set of BBS LeMans would fit the bill.

Whatever you do please lower the car a foot or so :D and fit the same front lip as the blue car as that also makes the car sit better and "hunker down" on the road more.

Hope this helps,

J.
