How lucky !!

Post by DR GREENTHUMB »

Had to take the war offices scoob into APT today as the cam belt tentioners were sounding a bit rattley. When garry began to take off the covers we found the cam belt was only just hanging on & had started to wear through the covers. :o :o :( A few more miles & it could have been a lot more expensive  .

On the subject of RS Turbos and cam belts :)

I had an RS a few years ago. Booked it in for a new water pump and belt. On the day it was due to go in, the bloody belt snapped. How UNlucky was that?

Well got the subaru back from APT. Garry found that one of the tentioner bolts had sheered off & the only thing holding the belt on was the lip on the bottom pulley and the covers :o :o :o ,still its a good job done & now the missus owes me some big favours :D :D :D
