It's stagnated since mid March. Just shows how much interest there is in the big Subaru event of the year.

I think your point about event interest is entirely valid. Surely with TA, sprints, all of the car shows, SSO, Ten of the Best..........the calender is becoming saturated and people are having to choose what they miss.

How relevant is a one make super event of this nature anymore? I do understand the need for this sort of thing to act as a filter for TOTB, but that's about it in my opinion.

Considering all the 'talk' on S/net, you'd think people would flock there to back up their claims of ''ad 'im in the twisties' etc. :D

Entry list now up. http://www.scoobynet.com/scoobylive/

I do think it's been pretty poorly managed this year and kept low profile, other than a top banner, but who takes notice of banners?

Just had a last minute panic as tyres need to be road legal. My 888s are perfectly adequate for sprints but just over 1mm tread depth.

Fortunately camskill are well priced, in stock and next day delivery.

Was going to remove the pax seat to lighten it up but it has to have both front seats. Ah well!

See you there, short trip round the corner for me, and even i am not that interested in attending. Certainly if i hadnt been asked to drive marks car i would just be watching.

Sums it up really, because it was me and Dave Peck that came up with the idea back in 2003!

Some good prizes on offer as usual from Lateral, so worth attending.

Having the usual BBQ and camping bash at mine the night before with and Indian after the event, which is always a good laugh, and good to catch up with friends.

Have you seen Metcheck Steven?

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/day ... gton&day=3

Peeing down all day. Typical SSO weather. BBC says sunny periods?

360 miles just to get another soaking

I remember seeing pics of the first one with the Wallis & Grommit wagons :D

I'm signed up to compete, but car needs a new gearbox throwing in first and I'm still waiting for it to make it all the way back from Scotland, so not looking likely.

Will be the 3rd year in a row the car has been off the road and I've missed SSO! :(
