carbs, trumpets, and airboxes!

yep its all about 'back in the day' i've just maDE an airbox for my twin 45 dellortos and have removed the trumpets from the carbs.

anyone know of potential differences this will make to the car?
'51 Chevy rat rod pickup - zz4 350ci v8, TH350 box, Jag IRS LSD rear, camaro clip, boxed rails........really should upgrade the brakes

well for the racing minis (mini miglias) when they have an airbox fitted combined with a webber, they make about 8 bhp :) so your's should be in the region of that.
