:oops: sorry tommy i think i'm guilty of hijacking now

engine is fine and the gearbox selection problems i've been having are due to some worn plastic bushes in the stick and linkage, i think

Bladey and I were at Donny on Friday and we were discussing various durable and cheap cars that still had a bit of poke.

I don't really want to entertain another 20 year old car that will start to need structural work. I already have enough of them

The 328 feels very tough indeed. It has a smidge under 110,000 miles and it's smooth and very powerful. No problems so far after 300 track miles and about 1000 road miles.

At last it seems I've now sold the interior of the car! So, a set of buckets will be ordered soon and hopefully fitted in time for Cadwell in June. Not sure which to go for yet however the budget will be about

Don't blame you Tommy, go for it :thumb:

I bought the Corbeau Sprints from APT. They were pretty cheap (within your budget) but so light and strong. Definitely the best seats I've had including Cobras, Recaros etc

I'm fecking huge but they also do a skinny version, if that is more your ilk

They are comfortable and supportive.......I'll be putting the very same into the Bm and if you want to borrow one and try it first, let me know. Bear in mind mine is the XL size though so if you want one smaller, at least you'll know for sure before you splash your cash.

You may need to fabricate mounts in the car that the side mounts bolt too. (Just so you know)

And on that shameless plug, Eddy secured a sale - thanks Eddy. Phase 2 has come early for our car so seats have been ordered and we're waiting for SHP Motorsport to get back to us on a quote.
