Hi guys and girls,
This is going to break my heart but.........
My two dogs need rehoming due to the fact that we are moving into a rented house and we can't take them with us.
Does anyone know of anywhere that would take them as I have tried the RSPCA and Dogs Trust etc and they all have waiting lists and they need rehoming pronto, preferably by the weekend.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Nik

Have you tried the Blue Cross?

I think if I were forced into something like this I'd be inclined to offer either a sizeable donation or weekly payments for their upkeep until such time as a suitable home is found for them.
If they're of good temperament, healthy and with a good veterinary record, they should fare better than a stray, snappy mutt.
My daughter has just moved into a rented house in Norfolk. One of the conditions was that they would allow dogs. Could you not try to find a more dog friendly property?

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
They are good with kids, we have a grandaughter of 2 1/2 years old and a grandson of under a year old and they get on very well with them. They tend to get a bit excited when they first come in but after about 5 mins they settle down.
As far as other dogs go, we have had people come to stay and they have brought their dogs with them and again, after a little while they calm down.
They do get a bit excited when they see other dogs whilst out walking but they don't tend to get aggressive, they just want to play, but because of Alfies size people do get a bit wary.
They are not so keen on cats that come into the garden but we have never had a cat in the house with them so I cant really say what they would be like in that situation.
By the way if necessary I can drop them off this weekend if anyone will take them in.
Thanks
Nik

s13 with 313bhp and Omex management and now an APT fully forged engine

Francis, The jabs are up to date. Alfie is neutered and Kat is spayed so no chance of any seasons or puppies
. They do get on very well together. You can call me anytime after 7.30 tonight or anytime tomorrow on my mobile if you want to discuss anything about them. The number is in the members area.
Ant, thanks for vouching for them. They really are a pair of softies.
