Was it the blue one with gold wheels? :D

Sorry, couldn't resist :-D Will you be going again this year? If you are, we'll have to say hello :thumb:

The class structure is somewhat ambiguous, or has been. There's Pro & Private but they won't say who's in which

Pretty sure last year it ran as, if its quicker than a 11.3 then you're in the pro class.

Its worth having a go if anyones interested, 1/4 mile most will have a rough idea of their time. Handling has been a tricky one to call last 2 years due to weather.

Last year I only managed about 3 1/4s and a couple of circuits when the gearbox cried enough :(

I was led to believe, by Shaun on S/net that sponsorship determined who was pro. I had a moan because I wanted to compare my times with other private entrants not the pros.

You're right. Sub 11.5 and you're pro. Personally, I think that's bloody stupid. There's more to being pro than sub 11.5 What about handling times, no mention of a break time there.

I've entered but I'd like to know who I'm competing against.

I should be there, signed up last year and the car wasn't ready so Chris said I could go in this year instead.

Just hope my cars ready!

I think the 'pro' thing should be decided before you go there.

Everyone knows which is a pro car and which isn't, and is a hollow victory from anyone entering as a non-pro, doesn't look good for them does it.

As far as handling goes, its still pretty much open winning wise, weather can play a big part. I think RCMS were in a class of their own last year, but i think (it was a year ago!) it was pretty tight after them.

There were a number of sponsored cars, quite a few from the Clinic. I only got two handling runs in, as the gearbox was playing up and I ended up 15th.

I tried to establish who were the pros as I wanted a comparison against the privateers, which I thought was fair enough. From the reaction, anyone would think I was questioning their parentage. Even Andy F asked what difference did his day job make ffs

I'll just treat it as a day out this time. :)
