What about a Prodrive 3-way BCS or one of the aftermarket 4-way BCS'? Would none of those not suit your setup? I can't Remember if you're still running a Denso ECU.
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Waiting now for another execution date!!:headhack:

Why don't you ask around on RomRaider, perhaps one of the regular experts there knows the score??
Just a thought
I meant to say....did you alter MAF and Load scaling?? I read on there they can now alter MAF scaling beyond the normal 300 (350 - 400 now).
Stupid question probably as i'm sure you have all the bases covered :thumb:

Good stuff Duncan
As you have found out you will need a slightly different boost profile for the rollers compared to the road, only takes a couple of minutes with Simtek/Gems etc. Not so easy with the stock ECU.
I was on the rollers with our new 'baby turbo' this week, 411bhp & 406lbft was the outcome... not bad for a non AVCS 2.0L
Jase.

I am much happier to figure this out without seeking advice from people that I dont know.
The std ecu was designed to do a certain job and it does it very well, it can be stretched to do other jobs or get greater performance but is always going to be a compromise. I am sure that given enough time, that I could get the std denso ecu to do what I want, but for a simple short term fix I think a boost controller will just take that worry away.
Ultimately though, speed density and live mapping are the way to go - it just saves so much time mapping.
