I like it. Subtle like a Williams livery, where the sponsors appear but in Williams colours. :thumbs:

I'm afraid I am going to have to side with frayz and stuart on this one. Not keen. The area 52 part for me just doesn't go with the existing graphics and it is a little hard to read due to the fancy characters. All my opinion of course.

Spent the day at Zen getting the suspension set up right .... all I can say is mmmmmmm :D That is going to work nicely for starters ;) Top mods and a good set up. Thanks Paul and the gang :thumb:

for starters it was a lot more than doing alignment (although that was done at the end)

Some theory:

1. when lowering a car, this alters the angles of the bottom arms.
2. the angle of the pivot point on the lower outer ball joint through the inner pivot point and the angle of the top pivot on the strut dictate the roll center
3. lowering the car lowers the roll centre and makes it easier for a car to roll

so...

the job was to alter the angle of the lower arms to raise the roll centre to make the car corner flatter thereby keeping the tyres in better contact with the road.

I wont go into the exact details but it involved the whiteline roll centre adjuster and the whiteline anti lift kit along with some drilling, welding and grinding to raise the roll center quite substantially.

Geometry was set at a compromise setting for road and track with 2.5 neg camber at the front and 1.25 neg camber at the rear with changes to toe in/out etc to take advantage of the improved and custom suspension set up.

End result is quite astounding. Very, very stable in a straight line and under braking but a wonderful turn in and absolutely zero understeer - the drive back was fun. 8)

Thanks Mike. The suspension was a piece of the jigsaw that had to be done properly so that I could lower the car a touch more otherwise the benefit of lowering would have been negated by the altering of geometry.

There is still some more to do on it to really take it as far as I want, but that will have to wait til later in the season.

loving the new look of the car Duncan 8)

how much did you lower the car by? im away to swap the coilovers from my Uk Turbo onto my RA soon and was looking to lower it a bit as well, not sure how much i can get away with TBH, as theres never anybody in it apart from me i would assume i could lower it a fait for with out having probs with the wheels rubbing against the arches
