i am looking to purchase a new video camera , needs to be able too run a bullet camera for trackdays.

what is the general opinion please , disc or hdd i have about a

cheers duncan i like the wireless camera , what do you rekon about the lap timing software from video footage :?: this is a bit above me , but would give a good analysis of a trackday when i got home :wink:

All track days ban its use and will send you home without refund.

Having said that some allow the use of loggers that allow you to analyse the information for later use - just not as in gran turismo type split timings etc that would invalidate their insurance.

yes that is my point their software claims to give you laptimes from your camera footage alone so you are not using any timing equipment 8)

I just got an acrhos 604 DVR and bullet camera after doing some reading into them. It is a 30GB hard disk Ipod type device with mps, video etc, a big screen and can record from a bullet cam. The Archos was a bargain

it is from dog cam sport dv500 and a sony HQ1 camera package

i'll hopfully be using it a the weekend so we will see how it performs :wink:
