Inappropriate behaviour

Post by Stuart »

Briefly, my reasons are as follows;

1) This sort of modification does nothing for performance or aesthetics and therefore has no place, in my opinion, on any serious performance car.

2) Your Youtube videos are inaccurately titled as far as I can tell. You describe your car as having anti-lag. Please correct me if I am wrong but I understand your car to be fitted with something like a rev limiter which cuts ignition at a certain point in the rev range. (BeeR rev limiter or similar?) Hardly anti-lag and therefore bullshit.

3) BigPower was founded by Duncan and I two years ago to try and provide a domain for people who were keen to distance themselves from just this sort of thing. Twatting around in car parks is just that........twatting around. People like me, who drive fast cars quickly need to draw as little attention to ourselves as possible. By all means drive an attention grabbing car but be prepared for the consequences. As an example, Ian drives one of the most distinctive R33's in the UK. The downside of this is that he is constantly getting busted/pulled by the Police to check his and the cars details.

The flip side of having a car that is louder, faster or quicker than the average family hatch is that not everyone likes them. Unwanted attention does none of us any favours and I cannot endorse anyone who drives like a prat on the road, loons in a car park or generally lets the side down.

I hope that clarifies my position.

I have a full Aem ems which is far from BeeR.

The purpose is so i can launch the car on boost, having bigger turbos mean more lag. This feature kills the turbos and can be dangerous if used at the wrong time and the wrong places it's mainly for drag at the likes of pod or track days etc.

I've spent allot of time and money building my car and i can assure you i'm not one of these boy racers you are picturing, the car is probably one of the most powerful on the club, i've had it dyno's and has more torque than a Maclaren F1. I also have a completly clean licence and never had any points.

I agree there are idiots who spoil the car scene for the most of us, you know the ones, racing around the city as if it's a race track, screaching around car parks as if it's a skid pan. I have no interest in pubs or clubs as there are so many scummy people about these days. I would much prefer spend time with my mates who happen to be just as keen on cars as i am and yes this means going to lorry/car parks but that's no different to say a big power meet in some respects as it's enthusiasts/mates getting together, if you see my video there is a Soarer which is no chaved up saxo and the voice is American which i've yet to come across a chav American.

I'll refrain from posting any pics or videos in the future, sorry.
