Race License

Post by mike-payne »

just a quick question.....
someone asked me if there was a colour blindness test needed for a race licence and if there was a pass criteria.

I don't have a race license so have no idea. but i would assume as long as you can tell the difference between yellow, blue & red flags that you would be ok.

I seem to remember a test for it in my medical where they show you the dotty books and you have to spot the number.

I would love a race license.

I'm thinking a S13 or the S14 but the first generation not the facelift. Think S13 would be quicker and cheaper by the time it's stripped out.

Yes there is. You will need to have a full medical and this includes a piss test and vision

On the colour blindess side of things our World Championship winning Superstox driver can't see different shades of Red/Green, and neither can a certain ex touring car/historic saloons/Legends driver in the Norfolk area.

Shop around for the medical or get a group together. it will be worth it.

The piss test is only for sugar ;-)
