Keep the Impreza Trev, learn the car, learn yourself and your driving techniques. Relax about the whole thing and go and enjoy yourself. Keep it reliable and well serviced and you should be fine.

One piece of advice I would give is to get as much seat time with other people as you can, in their cars. Only then will you appreciate where your at mate.

I do understand your need for a cheaper, 'chuckable' track car, but think long and hard about the brilliant starting point you have......

Should have said. I'm soon to lose my MAF and it works fine.

i havent actually fitted a new one yet i have one taken from a 22b temporarily to see if it did solve the problem as they are the same orange label mafs, i should have a brand new one turn up tomorrow then he can put his back on his 22b

Might be a Simtek, then again, might not be :D Can't say anything round here 8)

hehehe, its all getting a secretive now :!: Whys that Gerry, all these boys are in my class, not yours!

Be interesting to see your feeback "if" thats the one your getting! My ole Gems is okay but I have used the car a coiple of weeks for work and the cold start etc is not very friendly!
