99RON over in Northampton is now 109.9ppl Tesco
and 111.9ppl for V-Power.

You're right when you say it is turning into a free for all. What i want to know is why is Tesco 99RON and V-Power cheaper in Scotland by 2 or 3 ppl.

Surely it would be more expensive as there are less cars up there, and cheaper as there are more cars here. Or perhaps it's got something to do with the fact that because people earn less in Scotland they keep the prices a bit cheaper and they go up more slowly.

It's all a bit much really and we are expecting another 2ppl in tax come april.

This is why i am now looking for an old oil burner so i can make and use my own biodiesel which is free of any taxes for the first 2500ltrs. Apparantly there is a cash and carry called Costco that sells some really cheap cooking oil at 25ppl if you cannot get hold of the used for free stuff. At that price it would cost next to bugger all to run a car,
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Waiting now for another execution date!!:headhack:

"I'm afraid there is VAT to pay on top and unfortunately you have to pay that on most things these days ...."

yeh in this country, when was the last petrol kickup,i carnt even remember now it was that long ago,i was chatting to a friend the other night about this ,and i think it time the people of this country too take a stand!!

the thing is "you dont ask you dont get" but the sad truth of it all is most of the people in this country just keep paying and paying ,and all it boils down to is the stinking goverment rapeing the public ,with one word TAX..
ask yourself howmany other countrys pay the fuel prices we do???
